About Us
Established in 1950 as Joe K. Smith, Smith Garden Products’ initial business only involved assisting farmers. We evolved over the years to a shavings and saw dust facility, and from there into the bark business you know us as today. In 1997, we changed to our name to Smith Garden Products.
Today we produce and distributes barks, mulches, soils and planting mixes for the lawn and garden industry all over the southeast United States. In 2004, Smith Garden Products was acquired by The Garick Corporation.
